The Detroit Hot Sauce gets its flavor from a unique combination of ghost peppers and chipotle peppers which blend together to produce a smokiness that captures the essence of the Motor City. Throw in some habanero to cut the spiciness and a little added sweetness from the mellowness of the carrots, and – voilà – you’ve got a hot sauce that’ll add the perfect touch to just about everything, but particularly your next burger!
Of course, each bottle purchased directly supports Detroit’s community garden revolution with each purchase! That’s right. If you haven’t heard, Detroit is in the midst of a renaissance with its burgeoning urban farming scene is playing an important role in the miraculous transformation. As the Detroit Hot Sauce is made with peppers grown in Detroit Community Gardens, we are thrilled to be adding a little spice to the movement!
