Siren Snacks is a category disrupting snack brand creating delicious, plant-based bites for today’s on-the-go consumers. They're building a full pantry of products - protein bites, energy bites, keto bites & rest & relaxation bites - that provide convenience, joy, and nourishment in every bite.
They use protein derived from peas, which are loaded with nutrients (including protein!), and pea protein has been proven to aid in weight loss, support a healthy heart, and help regulate blood sugar. They also use protein from flax seeds, which are rich in Omega-3s and are high in fiber. Their snacks will also help you avoid the bloat and digestive distress that many experience from dairy-based protein.
Currently, Siren snacks has national distribution with retailers including Whole Foods, Target, CVS, Jamba Juice and many more, and is a venture backed company with an investment from Kellogg's.
Siren Snacks was founded by two sisters, Elizabeth & Abby Giannuzzi. After a series of health challenges, Elizabeth decided to clean up her diet but struggled to find plant-based snacks that delivered on taste, nutrition, and quality ingredients. Abby, the chef in the family, decided to help Elizabeth design the perfect snack that checked all the boxes, and hundreds of iterations later Siren Snacks was born. Today, Siren is a leader in grab & go snack category and offers bite-sized snacks packed with functional benefits including protein energy, rest & relaxation, and blood sugar balance.
Elizabeth Giannuzzi is the co-founder and CEO of Siren Snacks. Elizabeth discovered her passion for plant-based nutrition through her own health journey. After an autoimmune diagnosis in her early 20s, she was able to manage her symptoms and heal herself by switching to clean label, plant-based products. Prior to launching Siren, Elizabeth worked at Sonoma Brands, a food-focused incubator and venture capital fund. Elizabeth holds an MBA from Stanford's Graduate School of Business and a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from Brown University. Elizabeth lives in Sonoma, CA with her fiancee Tucker.
