About

Signos combines continuous glucose information with an AI-enhanced app to offer revolutionary continuous data and recommendations designed to drive healthy and sustained weight loss. With over 75% of the American population overweight or obese, Signos provides a new way for people to act on their body’s unique response to what they eat to lose weight and kickstart a healthier life. Signos was founded by a team that brings deep expertise in applying data and AI to build engaging experiences with technology to improve health outcomes.

Founding Story

The best “diets” are the ones that help you find a healthy, stable weight. The most effective weight loss apps are the ones that hold you accountable and encourage behavior change. Glucose is the key link for successful weight loss and mobile engagement -- it provides real time feedback and the app experience builds accountability and instigates sustainable lifestyle change that results in weight loss.

Founder Sharam's lifelong struggle with weight and fitness combined with a desire to understand his body brought him to the idea that glucose could be the ideal biometric to track. Sharam took Bill (their future Chief Data Scientist)—who tracked his weight via spreadsheets—out for pizza and they came up with the idea of creating a new, biodata-centric approach to weight loss.
