Founding Story

The brand is co-founded by Anje Collins who is a 25-year seasoned event producer and publicist who has worked with many of Hollywood’s elite including Mary J. Blige, Usher, Pink, Jill Scott, etc. After a long and successful career in PR managing talent and fashion brands, she decided to launch Rogers Pearson in 2022 with her partner, Brian Pearson who is an extremely successful and sought after franchise broker. Together they are taking their experiences to the luxury fashion industry and designing exquisite shoes and accessories that fit any budget.

Team Bios

With a master’s degree in public relations from UC Berkley, in 1993 Anje Collins began her career in the public relations department at Arista Records in New York City. Working with artists such as Pink, Outkast, Usher and Linkin Park, her responsibilities included being a liaison between the sales and research teams, working with syndicated research and assisting with tour based public relations and events at the VMA’s, Grammy’s, Billboard and The American Music Awards.

In 1999, Anje Collins then accepted a position as the urban music director at the world-renowned nightclub S.O.B.’s in Manhattan specializing in live entertainment. In this position, Anje worked with a multitude of musical genres from hip-hop to neo-soul, jazz to Latin fusion. Working with such artists as U2, Mary J. Blige, Wyclef Jean, Macy Gray, Jill Scout, Café Tacuba, Alejandro Fernandez, the late Tito Puentes, and a slew of today’s artists.

In 2002, she then made the jump into the fashion arena working at the hip fashion agency Company Agenda, specializing in fashion and art public relations. She worked on a massive number of fashion shows, parties, and client events. In this position she represented some of the industry’s brightest talent, working with top editors, designers, and stylists for editorial coverage.

The client roster at Company Agenda included: Betsey Johnson, Steve Madden, Sean Jean, Urban Chic, Absolut, Ciroc and more.

In 2004, Ms. Collins served as the Executive Director of Special Projects at Trice Magazine in New York City. Where she produced some of the most highly publicized events in the magazine’s history. From fashion week parties in New

York, Paris, and Milan to new product launches in Miami, Dallas and Los Angeles. She also produced over 250 events and marketing programs for clients including Belvedere, Ciroc, French Connection, Rock and Republic, Ed Hardy, Prada, Moet & Chandon, Stoli, Louis Vutton, Tiffany and Company and more.



In 2006, Ms. Collins was the Director of Special Events for a Miami Based firm. Her duties included managing accounts in the luxury, fashion, consumer and lifestyle practices, planning, coordinating and garnering sponsorships for all special events, generating weekly publicity for all events and special projects through press releases and relationships with the media and the production of all promotional material.

Anje Collins served as the Executive Agency Director of her own firm The Luxe PR Group, The Art of Luxury and now the newest division The Luxe Style Lab. Managing accounts in the luxury, fashion, music, sports, hospitality, consumer and lifestyle practices from 2007-20019 With over 35 years’ experience in the media relations and event production industry, Ms. Collins is well versed in developing and executing broad reaching public relations campaigns in a variety of industries, including fashion, multimedia, sports and entertainment, hospitality and luxury consumer goods, among others.

She has also co-founded the organization Women In PR, a movement that host’s events, seminars, workshops, and conferences for women in the public relations industry.

Anje’s proven track record of placing her clients in the top tier media outlets coupled with creating feature and business stories, fostering real relationships between her clients and the media showcases her diverse talents and lays the foundation for her continued success.

Anje Collins is a seasoned event producer and publicist based in Los Angeles, CA. She brings decades of experience to Los Angeles after cultivating her career in New York City. Whether it’s securing feature stories for her clients in high profile magazines, including them within advertisement campaigns, booking appearances on highly rated television shows or keeping high volume internet sites updated on their activities she continuously implements innovative strategies to expose talent to the world.

In 2019 during the pandemic Anje launched a business that is after her own heart and that is a shoe brand. Coco Blue Shoes is a fast fashion shoe brand that has been making major moves in the industry. In 2022, when Coco Blue Shoes could not keep up with the major machine of Fashion Nova, Angie decided to close Coco Blues Shoes to launch her brand Rogers Pearson which is a brand that is totally designed by her.

Anje has also entered a new business with the launch of Fashion Assembly, following the success of the debut of her custom luxury shoe line, Rogers Pearson, Fashion Assembly will be Anje's second venture. Based on her experience managing an e-commerce website, Anje concluded that there were not sufficient chances for people of color. Anje and her business partner then worked together to design an idea for, and launch, a one-stop shop catering specifically to the needs of minorities who operate e-commerce beauty or fashion brands.

Brian Pearson, a franchise broker/coach/consultant based in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, works with people at various stages of their lives to help them identify their most important goals, create an incredible vision, and then develop the mindset to make it all happen in the franchise industry.

Brian, who has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a marketing specialization, proved to himself that he could do anything when he launched two successful businesses despite the pandemic at the time.

Brian has a deep understanding of the franchising world and the unique opportunities available in multiple sectors as a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) and industry veteran. He knows how to tell the difference between long-term opportunities and passing fads, and he helps his clients secure solid business opportunities.

Brian decided to go it alone after years of working for other brands and founded the Invictus Development Group and Invictus Franchise Group, a well-respected, trusted, and integrity-based firm that produces positive results.

Brian's specialty as a broker consultant is assisting business owners in purchasing franchises so they can own their own business and live their dream.

In the United States, he represents over 800 brands.

Despite his job title, he considers himself more of a client advocate and educator. His top priority is to ensure that his clients fully understand the franchise purchasing process and to work with them throughout the process so that they can ask the right questions and feel confident about their life-changing decision.

Pearson, who is now in his 25th year of franchising, was forced to rethink many strategies and become more creative, focused, and resourceful than in previous years. Brian and a business partner launched the luxury shoe brand Rogers Pearson in 2022. With the success of the shoe brand, he collaborated with his business partner to launch Elementi’ Creative Agency, a one-stop solution for eCommerce beauty and fashion brands in downtown Los Angeles.

As an entrepreneur, Brian is dedicated to educating others about the power of business ownership and the positive impact it has on individuals, families, and communities.
