The Fusion of 21st Century Technology with Traditional European Craftsmanship

Since 2016 Robert August has provided our clients with the ability to create high-quality footwear and accessories to match their own unique style.

Robert August has embraced emerging technologies, while still holding true to the traditional art of crafting the highest quality footwear and leather goods. Our 360 Degree Design Studio enables our clients to create a truly tailor-made design that is unique as they are.

Our made to order process enables us to cater to each individual client and reduce waste in the process, all while delivering a true luxury experience

Since 2016 our collection has grown from a small selection of standard footwear models to a wide range of men’s and women’s footwear and leather goods with specialty finishes and materials including Hand Patina and Exotic Leathers. We look forward to growing our collection in the future.

In a world of fast fashion, Robert August aims to fight the tide and dedicate ourselves to delivering a luxury product, created by highly skilled craftsmen.

Responsible Manufacturing:

Robert August makes every effort to assure that our products are ethically produced. Our workshops are located in Europe and the United States. We source the finest leathers from tanneries in Italy, Germany, Spain and the USA, and sartorial fabrics from the most prestigious mills in Italy, France, and Belgium.

Founding Story

The company was originally founded in 2013 as Bespoke by Demian, we were by appointment only and provided custom-made men's dress shirts and suits, adding shoes in 2015. In 2016 we launched our website and changed the name to Robert August, offering our custom-made footwear to a worldwide audience.

Team Bios

Having spent over 20 years in the luxury industry, focusing the first 15 years in Fine Jewelry and Timepieces, I first started working with custom made dress shirts as a necessity. I always enjoyed a fine suit and dressing well, but proper fitting shirts were a pain to find, and when my custom tailor retired, I decided to launch my own brand.
