Their journey began in 2014 when, while purging their bathroom cabinets of conventional toxic beauty and personal care products, they found that antiperspirant was especially challenging to replace with something both natural and effective. Every natural deodorant they tried was ineffective and some even caused irritation and rashes. So they took matters into their own hands and began experimenting with making their own...
It took over a hundred test batches and almost a year until they landed on the PiperWai Natural Deodorant formula they have today. In the beginning, they handcrafted every batch in a community kitchen, traveled door to door convincing retailers to sell their product, and eventually built a small-yet-passionate community of customers who never imagined they could finally find an effective natural deodorant until they tried PiperWai. After an appearance on ABC’s Shark Tank in 2015, thy saw an unprecedented demand for PiperWai Natural Deodorant. Since then, they have been hard at work, expanding and perfecting their product line. They have always been eco-conscious, but in 2021 they decided to up their game and lead the way to a more sustainable personal care industry by switching from glass and virgin plastics to more earth-friendly materials. Saving the earth never smelled so good.
