Founding Story
Regina Mariano's journey has always been guided by her love for travel and nature. As a long-time supporter of wildlife conservation through Tusk Trust, she has aimed to leave a positive impact on the planet. The inspiration for Olives + Elephants emerged during the pandemic, when she faced the unexpected loss of her beloved Yorkie, Olives—her constant travel companion.
Inspired by her deep love for fragrance and its power to evoke vivid memories, Regina began making candles to capture and preserve cherished moments and experiences. This led to the creation of Olives + Elephants, a brand that elegantly intertwines her passions for travel, luxury, and conservation. Each candle is designed to look stunning and smell incredible, created with the highest quality ingredients. Drawing from her personal journeys, the scents take you from the vibrant streets of Jaipur to the tranquil shores of Ibiza. Hand-poured in small batches with eco-friendly soy wax and natural fragrances, these candles are housed in handcrafted brass vessels meant to be repurposed as a lasting keepsake.
