Nutr is a low-maintenance and mess-free machine that makes delicious plant-based milk in minutes – right in your own home. Nearly 70% of the world’s population is lactose intolerant, and not all nut milk is created equal. The average carton of brand-name almond milk is only 2% almonds, leaving plenty of room for preservatives, added sweeteners, and more unnatural additives.
With the Nutr Machine, a fresh glass of almond milk can be as simple as nuts and water. Really. Put the power of ingredients and the knowledge of the ingredient label back in your kitchen with Nutr. Create your own rich and creamy nut milk in minutes, without nut bag squeezing and preservatives or artificial ingredients. With 3 unique settings (hot, warm, no heat), Nutr can be used to make soy, rice, almond, walnut, hemp, flaxseed, oat milk and more.
Simple to use, easy to clean, and best of all, all you have to do is add your favorite ingredients and water, and press the button! Plus, eliminating tons of cartons from store bought milk. With an engrained philosophy of preservation and sustainability, Nutr partners with One Tree Planted, who plants trees around the world while enlisting amazing reforestation partners.
Co-Founders Alicia and Dane are partners based in Columbus, Ohio, and have always believed that being environmentally conscious is a way of life. Finding ways to conserve and protect our planet is just common sense if we want to maintain and improve the living conditions of our world.
Alicia & Dane joined forces to come up with a plan to do their part and find a way to be more active participants in a sustainable solution. Becoming aware and informed of the benefits of living a sustainable lifestyle by watching the movie, A Life on Our Planet by David Attenborough, the subject matter left such a deeply personal effect on them, they knew they wanted to get involved.
Realizing how much waste accumulates due to the dairy industry, not to mention the cruelty and environmental impacts, they decided to dig in a bit further. When they found out what was in grocery store almond milk, they could not believe they could even put the word almond on the containers. After some research, they discovered many people were making their own plant-based milk at home through the process of almond milking. Although the resulting milk is nutritious and tasty, it is a painstaking process that involves a time-consuming method and is a bit inconvenient and messy.
They wanted to give people a way to make their personal brand of plant-based milk at home. As a result, they designed a product that is gorgeous to look at, fits right on your kitchen counter, and is made with eco-friendly materials and a thoughtful design.
