Mignonne Gavigan launches a collection of Game Day ready accessories The brand is tapping into its southern roots to launch a collection inspired by SEC football.

Mignonne Gavigan launches their Gameday collection on August 15th, 2022, just in time for the start of NCAA football.

The capsule collection was thoughtfully designed and developed with football fans in mind, featuring 30 limited-edition styles consisting of embroidered earrings and brooches. Styles include embroidered football studs, a Longhorn brooch, Gamecock studs, Bulldog studs, signature Madeline earrings in mini and full size available in popular school colors – Carolina blue, Georgia red and black, Crimson and gold, and more.

Founder Mignonne Gavigan, who attended both the University of Georgia and University of North Carolina, is excited to launch this collection that pays homage to her alma-maters. “These customized pieces have been requested for a while now and we are so excited to make them available to everyone. As an avid football fan, I can’t wait to get my hands on some pairs for myself!”

ABOUT MIGNONNE GAVIGAN

Based in New York City, Mignonne Gavigan founded her namesake brand in 2014. After graduating from Parsons Paris and working in the apparel industry, while experimenting with a beaded couture vintage gown an embellished piece of fabric fell to the floor, she picked it up and fastened it around her neck. On her walk home through Soho a handful of compliments and questions on where she had gotten her necklace came about and the first Mignonne Gavigan design idea was born. She launched the Mignonne Gavigan collection with truly unique scarf necklaces and has since expanded the collection. With partners all over the world, Mignonne’s design approach stems from her love of art, nature, architecture, and textiles and creates modern designs, informed by 100-year-old heritage techniques. Signature styles include embroidered and beaded scarf necklaces, meaningful charms, decadent statement earrings, intricately detailed brooches, and bracelets.

Ultimately what she discovered is that women develop a significant amount of confidence when wearing an MG piece. Her ultimate goal in developing Mignonne Gavigan was to build a community of kind, confident women which is cultivated through her cult following of loyal MG customers and the all women-run team at MG Headquarters. Each piece created is meant to bring joy and happiness to the wearer.
