Our kid-friendly baking kits are the ultimate in baking and treat-making fun. With edible stickers, candy glass and chocolate tattoos our kits really are like baking magic! ✨Plus every edible ingredient is food allergy friendly.

Founding Story
I'm Kristina Schlegel, the founder of Make Bake. I also happen to be a Silicon Valley product designer turned professionally trained baker and mama of two. ✨❤️
When I started baking with my 3 year old, it was hard to keep her engaged. But I saw how much she loved stickers and other arts & crafts. So I started thinking about baking that way. I asked myself, "what could I bring from the arts & crafts world into baking that would create that same type of engaging, playful experiences?"
After more than a year of product development, I created our first product, Stickies® edible stickers. They were an INSTANT hit – we even filed for a patent! I knew I was on to something when my daughter's friends would come over ASKING to bake with me.
I started this journey while I was pregnant with our son and it's been an exciting – and at times overwhelming – experience to invent a product, create a brand and bootstrap your way into building a business... while also trying to be a parent to two young children. I love what we're building with Make Bake and what I'm learning about myself as an entrepreneur, mother and woman along the way!

Team Bios
I'm a product design & marketing professional turned professionally trained pastry chef. I'm currently the founder of Make Bake and creator of Stickies Edible Stickers for baking & food crafts.
Prior to Make Bake, I spent 15+ years in product strategy & design. I've held leadership positions at Babylist, CommonSense Media, and Thumbtack. I also led design teams at the award-winning agencies Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners and at Digitas, where I did work for Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn Kids, Babycenter, Walgreens, Sephora, among others.
I've spent most of my career obsessed with product & brand innovation. I have spent literally thousands of hours talking to people and customers about their lives and the products they use to help them live, love, work and play better.
I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my husband and two young children. I love baking during the day and staring at the night sky (instead of a screen) after dark.
