The brand story begins with French native, Marine Delmau, who moved to New York City in 2011 to study Marketing and Fashion at Parsons School of Design. Soon after graduating, Marine met her mentor, a promising New York designer, who helped her land her first job in the world of fashion. Although passionate and motivated by this rewarding experience, she lacked a personal real connection to that brand and dreamed of creating something truly special—something with a deeper meaning.

Following this moral dilemma, Marine took a hiatus from the fashion world to refocus, reconnect with her spirituality, inner well-being, and explore ways to give meaning to her passion without feeling this tension. After watching a documentary on the harmful and immoral effects of the fashion industry on the environment, she had a revelation.

As a designer, Marine would commit herself to breaking new ground, creating an uninhibited brand responding to environmental preservation and the codes of the new generation. Lâcher Prise would be an eco-friendly and gender-fluid brand, influencing the world of fashion and its growing conscious demand.

Our collections are made only with green, plant-based fabrics, and non-polluting materials from verified, reliable, and responsible resources and forests such as MODAL and TENCEL from LENZING. We release a small number of new designs per year and favor short and local manufacturing circuits. To certify our commitment and fight against “greenwashing”, Lâcher Prise submits its ethics to the judgments of the most trusted sustainable labels, blogs, and magazines, providing reliable and true meaning to the term "ethical".

Lâcher Prise is aware of the urgency of global warming, which is why we prioritize creating a fair circular life for our clothes. For each purchase, we plant at least one tree, in this way we give back to nature what it’s been giving to us!
All of our designs are produced according to strict rules, our fabrics are biodegradable to ensure that our product’s end-of- life is respected and that the future is not made of stacked clothing polluting our land and oceans.This allows our customers to wear innovative designs while respecting our most precious resources.
