Quality craftsmanship made to elevate the everyday.
Launched in early 2020 by a former Interior Designer, Tarica Phung Navarro - KINN Home is thoughtfully designed tableware for meaningful moments. Taking design cues from nature, the colors and textures in this collection were created by pulling together the highest quality, natural and sustainable materials the world has to offer – kind to the planet and gentle on your home, too. Our mission is to inspire slower, simpler living.
With a timeless aesthetic and materials meant to age with grace, KINN's first capsule collection consists of an organic line of stoneware dining pieces, handcrafted from locally sourced clay by Portuguese artisans, mouth-blown glass from a family run workshop in Thailand, and 100% flax linen from a family mill in Lithuania. Seasonal collaborations with Austin based makers round out our assortment with limited edition pieces.
Outdoor friendly dining pieces made of enamelware and shared wooden serving boards are slated for late summer/early fall.
At KINN, we believe that thoughtful design creates meaningful moments. We're obsessive home cooks who believe in versatility, so detail matters to us - how a glass rests in the hand, how a napkin feels on a cheek, how a spoon handles everything from grain to soup. We take design cues from nature. It's where we draw inspiration for the colors and textures in our collection, pulling together the highest quality materials the world has to offer.
Prior to launching KINN, Tarica worked as an interior designer in cities ranging from Bangkok, L.A., New York, and finally landing in Austin, where she opened a kitchen and home store called Kettle & Brine. As an avid home cook, her love for both food and design fueled her passion for creating a line of tableware and home accessories that celebrate the simple pleasures of being at home.
Tarica Phung Navarro
Founder, Creative Director
Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, a country celebrated for its hospitality and cuisine, it wasn’t until both of Tarica’s daughters were born with food allergies that she immersed herself in cooking and food research. As an avid home cook and a formally trained interior designer who has always found pleasure in the details, Tarica recognized how good design in daily living can make a positive impact on how we eat.
After launching her first business Kettle & Brine, an acclaimed local kitchen and home provisions store, she quickly realized that there was a gap in the market for thoughtfully designed, sustainably produced AND accessible priced home goods, and the concept for Kinn Home was born.
Tarica has degree in Interior Architecture & Design from UCLA, and has worked for notable design firms in Los Angeles, Bangkok, New York City and for Michael Hsu Office in Austin, on projects ranging from hospitality to residential development.
She lives in South Austin with her husband Alex and daughters Anjali and Ananda.
