Jonas Paul Eyewear offers a full collection of kids and teen prescription glasses, blue light glasses, and sunglasses with more than 100 different styles for ages 4-19 (and many adults also wear their frames). The prescription kids glasses and teen glasses range from $55 to $89, including the prescription lenses.
One game-changing product that the brand offers is their Home Try-On Kit. For just a dollar, customers can test out 7 frames for 7 days in the comfort of their own home. Plus, the Jonas Paul app allows an even more extensive at-home try-on session, with nearly their entire line available for virtual try-on.
Every purchase with Jonas Paul is powerful and works toward the brand's mission to end childhood blindness. With each purchase, Jonas Paul Eyewear makes donations through its Buy Sight, Give Sight program to Vitamin Angels, their charitable partner. To date, the brand has saved the sight of over 800,000 kids and families around the world.
Founding Story
Ben and Laura Harrison founded Jonas Paul Eyewear in 2013 after their son, Jonas, was born with a rare eye condition that rendered him blind. Twenty-one surgeries and many prayers later, Jonas' vision was restored to a functional level. However, this blessing came with new challenges; one of them was finding glasses he could feel great in. After their search for stylish kids glasses came up empty, they launched Jonas Paul Eyewear.
In addition to the direct-to-consumer business, Jonas Paul Eyewear is also available in over 3,100 optical centers nationwide, including 2800 Walmart Vision Centers, BJ’s Wholesale, and all Eyemart Express locations.
Team Bios
Ben and Laura Harrison are the Co-Founders of Jonas Paul Eyewear, an innovative shopping experience that offers kids glasses online. The Harrisons co-launched Jonas Paul Eyewear in 2013 after being inspired by their son, Jonas, who was born nearly blind at birth. The brand has been an honoree for the last three consecutive years on the Inc. 5000, listed at #166 in 2019, #573 in 2020, and #777 in 2021. Jonas Paul’s thriving eCommerce model supports its Buy Sight, Give Sight program by making donations to Vitamin Angels in an effort to end childhood blindness around the world.
Prior to launching their new venture, the Harrisons gained extensive entrepreneurial experience through founding Folio Websites (later acquired by PhotoUp Inc.) and Harrison Studio. The social entrepreneurs also have a depth of knowledge in the creative field, including photography, web development, and web design skills.
