Happy Chance was founded by Katherine Knowlton. She’s a talented chef on a mission to make healthy, sustainable, and approachable cannabis products. During her own personal search for an edible that wouldn’t inflame her chronic digestive issues, Katherine realized there was a gap in the market for high-quality, enjoyable cannabis edibles. This inspired her to create Happy Chance, a brand that combines the power of cannabis with delicious flavors and functional ingredients. Katherine's passion for both cannabis and culinary arts drives her to constantly innovate and create products that not only taste great but also enhance the overall well-being of consumers.

From Charleston, SC to Jackson Hole, WY, to San Francisco, CA to Santa Barbara, CA, Katherine Knowlton is the founder of Happy Chance, providing health-conscious consumers a better-for-you, better-for-the-planet line of chef-crafted edibles, founded on ingredient integrity and sustainability. Katherine has worked in the food industry for 15 years as a team builder, recipe designer, and culture creator. She is passionate about food as the key to optimal health and well-being. She is a career chef and sustainable food advocate, classically trained at San Francisco Cooking School.
