At Gavalina, we believe great art should be within reach for everyone. That’s why we offer custom-framed prints at prices that let you experiment with different styles, fill more rooms, and refresh your space—all without overspending. We work with a diverse group of artists from all over the country, and every purchase directly supports an artist. Our custom frames are proudly crafted in the United States and are designed with largely recycled products, keeping the planet in mind.

Unfortunately, these options often overlook the critical role of living artists, leaving them struggling to compete in a crowded space. Enter Gavalina, a company built on the belief that art should not only be accessible and affordable but also meaningfully support the artists behind it.

When founding Gavalina, it was clear that something had to change. While many companies offer royalties to artists for their prints, Gavalina goes further: we pay artists the average royalty not just on the print but also on the frame—tripling the typical earnings per sale. This unique approach ensures that artists are fairly compensated for their creative contributions, empowering them to build sustainable revenue streams.

“How can we expect our local artists to make a living when competing against AI-generated art that can be sold at drastically lower costs?” says Gavin Brooks, Founder of Gavalina. “It was essential for us to create a model that celebrates and fairly rewards the talent of living artists, rather than sidelining them in favor of cost-cutting alternatives.”

Gavalina’s commitment extends beyond U.S.-based artists. While our current collections feature a diverse range of American talent, we are excited to introduce work from international artists in the near future. Every print and frame is proudly produced in the United States using largely sustainable materials, ensuring a product that is both environmentally conscious and of the highest quality.

Founding Story

I’ve lived in many places, often moving multiple times a year, and over time, I perfected a minimal packing list. But there was always something missing—my walls were bare, and that didn’t align with who I am or how I wanted my space to feel. Our homes should be a reflection of our lives, loves, and personal style, which led me to create Gavalina.

At Gavalina, we believe that beautifully curated gallery walls should be accessible to everyone, regardless of budget. A thoughtfully arranged gallery wall can transform a living room, hallway, or entryway, setting the tone for your space and allowing you to showcase the experiences, people, and passions that matter most to you.
