Founding Story

Jordan Karim is the founder, owner, and CEO of Flora & Noor, a halal and vegan skincare company. An expert in research chemistry and background in pharmaceutical consulting inspired her to create skincare products for her son's eczema and her family’s personal skincare needs after noticing a gap in the beauty industry for halal-certified skincare as well as clean products that target skin concerns of those with melanin-rich skin and chronic skin conditions. Flora & Noor was started by Jordan Karim, a mother of two and a previous pharmaceutical consultant who created the brand to provide clinically effective skincare and body products without unnecessary harsh ingredients that are vegan, cruelty-free, halal, and inclusive. Karim is also an Ambassador for National Eczema whose vision is a world without eczema. Karim is a Spelman College Alumni and resides in Chicago with her husband and three children.
