Spanish for the dining room/dining room table, Comedor, captures the importance of the dining room and its role throughout time of bringing people together. Located on the ground floor of the historic La Casa del Camino hotel in Laguna Beach, Comedor evokes the nostalgia and familiarity of gathering with friends and family in the dining room and serves as the focal point of connectivity and love of food. Comedor’s specialty dishes include traditional Spanish/Californian style tapas and technical entrees, all with their own elevated & modern twists alongside a bar program of craft cocktails.
When La Casa del Camino renewed its Rooftop Lounge during the summer of 2020, their popular dining room was also refined and rebranded to Comedor. With a gentle refurbishment of decoration by interior designer Matt Winter and plating hand-crafted in Oaxaca, Mexico-- Comedor brings an upscale and intimate dining experience to the historic hotel. Comedor’s Celebrity Chef, Marcel Vigneron, meets technical Spanish-Californian dishes offering an array of tantalizing small plates and a Spanish tapas-style experience.
