Launched in October 2020, BioRomper is a head-to-toe body suit made with antimicrobial fabric. It is designed to help you look good and feel good while you're on the move — in more ways than one. BioRomper is made fair trade in New York City with sleek, recycled fabric. The material — a custom polyester-spandex blend — is breathable, stretchy, water-repellant, and luxuriously comfortable. Not to mention, it's treated with an antimicrobial finish that helps eliminate germs on seats, headrests, and other surfaces.
BioRomper is unisex and arrives in five adult sizes: extra small to extra large. It is equipped with a hood, four pockets, elasticated cuffs, and an adjustable waist for a flattering fit. The garment is available in Jet Black, with an Aviator Green version arriving in February-March 2021.
The last 12 months have had an unprecedented impact on our daily lives. The COVID-19 pandemic has made traveling — near or far — more complex and challenging than ever before. The team behind BioRomper wanted to create something to meet the moment; an innovative new garment that blends fashion and function for everyday people on the move in this new normal ... and beyond.
Inspired by images of hyper-cautious travelers wearing hazmat suits to board airplanes, the team partnered with a local NYC fashion designer to prototype something more practical — a body suit that helps its wearer feel safer without sacrificing style or comfort, whether they're headed across town or hopping on an airplane.
For the founders, innovation also implied high-quality, sustainable craftsmanship. So they built BioRomper in fair trade factories within New York City's legendary garment district, using a custom, recycled blend of polyester and spandex (like your favorite luxury athleisure).
The result is a first-of-its-kind garment that plots a bold new course for the future of travel wear.
