GREENWICH, CT — Mike’s Organic, Connecticut's premier farm-to-home delivery service, will make its debut in Cos Cob on April 29 at 600 East Putnam Ave., with a first-of-its-kind retail location that underscores curation and connection.

The Mike’s team goes to great lengths to source the finest: local produce, pastured meats and eggs, grass-fed dairy, wild fish, pantry selections, local baked goods, vegan and gluten-free options and more.

As a result of vetting and selecting the best in each category, the brand provides a streamlined shopping experience. Knowledgeable and passionate staff serve as tour guides for shoppers along their journey, offering samples, meal tips and insight into the sourcing of products.

More than a market, Mike’s Organic will be an experiential destination with a lineup of food-forward programming where guests can meet local farmers and purveyors through special events.

Additionally, the brand will offer an extensive selection of Made by Mike’s organic, ready-to-eat meals.

Breakfast items include options like chocolate overnight oats, vegan parfaits and egg white/spinach wraps. Lunch and dinner options include freshly made seasonal salads and soups, glazed Ora King salmon, eggplant parmesan and grilled seasonal veggies.

Kids items include dishes like pastured chicken tenders, turkey meatballs and mac and cheese. The market will also feature a variety of freshly prepared local offerings, like sushi made fresh daily by Hinoki (Greenwich Avenue) or fresh baguettes from Raphael’s Bakery (Mason Street).

Outdoor seating is available to enjoy a bite.

In 2009, longtime Greenwich resident and owner Mike Geller launched the business as one of the first farm-to-home delivery services in America. What began as a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) delivery grew into an online farmers market servicing Fairfield and Westchester Counties.

In 2019, Mike’s Organic opened a storefront out of its delivery headquarters in Stamford. Geller and his core team have deep roots in Greenwich; Geller, Chris Kimball (Head of Retail), Mackenzie Judson (Head of E-Commerce) and Ford Bucknall (Store Manager) all grew up in town.

"It’s always been a dream to bring a space like this to life in the town where I grew up,," Geller said in a news release. "We’re thrilled to be able to make an impact on the community and offer a way to directly support farmers and makers who are doing good things for the planet. We envision this place to be a farmers market meets organic grocery store where people can interact with their food in fun and interesting ways."

Mike’s Organic will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The company also offers same-day delivery in the Greenwich area on weekdays and next-day delivery in Fairfield and Westchester County.

The brand’s location in Stamford will continue to serve as its delivery headquarters and distribution center for the business. Mike’s Organic will expand its catering and events arm as well, and the Greenwich location will be available to rent for private events.
