    Phoebe Cheong is a plant enthusiast and photographer who also launched an online shop in the last couple of years. Inspired by her grandma, she started caring for plants from an early age. Her online shop, Welcome to the Jungle Home sells candles, jewelry, and the popular plant potting tarp. The plant tarp is what started it all for her and it’s easy to know why.     Virginia Sin is the woman behind SIN. She is a multi-disciplinary designer based in Brooklyn. Over the years she has created some really amazing collections ranging from candlesticks to planters to plates and fruit bowls. She creates furniture, toothbrush holders, hooks, lights, and more. Her craftsmanship is second to none. We especially love her reservoir table planters that are a real statement piece for any plant lover.

    Founded by Sierra Yip-Bannicq and Jazmin de la Guardia, Franca is a gorgeous online ceramics shop selling handmade vases, mugs, dog bowls, dinnerware, and, of course, planters. Their stacked planters are our favorite, and they come in terracotta, speckled, and white. Pick one in a range of patterns, available in a glazed or unglazed finish.

    Since 2018, Rooted has been connecting people to nature at plant parties in its Brooklyn home base (an apartment!). And while they don’t have a retail location anymore, their online shop is fantastic. They have a great subscription service where you get a mystery plant delivered to your door each month. Plus, 1% of every purchase is donated to a nonprofit of your choice. It's a gift for you and for someone else.

    Poketo has been on the plant scene since the early 2000s. Named for the way that co-founder Angie’s Korean grandmother's mispronunciation of the word “pocket,” Poketo first got its start selling artist wallets. Since then they’ve moved on to tees, bags, and housewares. They have some of the cutest plant parent greeting cards we have ever seen. They’ve come a long way since 2003 and continue to put out new and amazing products with each collection.

    Maaari, which means “what is possible” and “can be done” in Tagalog, is a luxury home goods collection inspired by Philippine culture. The company was founded in 2016 by two Filipina-American women who wanted to honor their roots and share their culture. They sell gorgeous jewelry, candles, homeware, and textiles. We’ve got our eye on their Banga planter.
