For founder Coley Collett Hull, it all started in the bedroom. They say necessity is the mother of invention, and in Hull’s case, not being able to find a beautiful, special bed quickly, was how the brand came to fruition.
“After years of shared living spaces within tiny New York City apartments, my bedroom became my sanctuary. But furnishing this room was a nightmare, ” says Hull. “If you wanted an upholstered bed that didn’t look mass-produced, it would take 8-10 weeks and it wasn’t made any easier with delivery and assembly. We knew this was something we needed to change—your bedroom should be your haven, and furnishing it shouldn’t be a headache.”
The Coley cure? For the beds, shoppers have their choice of six different shapes and styles across three different bed sizes. There are three choices of wood stain for the bed legs and forty (most of them exclusive to the brand) upholstery fabrics to choose from. And with this new collection, that same level of customization is available, and all available to ship within five to ten days.
