I'm obsessed with candles, so it was a no-brainer for my husband to gift me this surprisingly super-fun gadget. It's really simple to use and charge, and it really works! I'll never have to buy another lighter again.
Promising review: "This is seriously the coolest device of my winter holiday. It makes lighting candles a breeze. Yes, there is a weird crackling noise, but that's a super-minor annoyance. It's a super-intuitive device. Plug the lighter in with the USB (included), charge for a bit, then pop it open and light ALL THE THINGS; well, candles. I don't know how well it lights cigarettes or whatever. However, for my personal intended use, it's awesome!" —Jee W

Bijou Candles is a queer-owned small business that sells, well, candles!
Promising review: "This is the perfect candle for fall and winter. It's deep, complex, and warm. It cozies up a room on chilly nights. I don't really get much citrus, but there's a heady patchouli and leathery vibe to it that is so rich. Imagine an old bookstore with a cute shop cat curled up napping. Sabrina takes you there." —Anne

A few years ago my family and I chipped in and got my sister a Lovesac for her first apartment — it was quite literally her only request. When I say she's obsessed with this bubble of comfort that would be such an understatement. I never understood why she was so in love with it until I sat down in it myself. It feels like the biggest, most loving hug you have ever received in your life. The outside is *so* soft that you can't help but want to burrow in and sit in the chair forever.
Get it from Lovesac for $600+ (available in five sizes and over 200 cover options).
My mom is a slipper fanatic and Dearfoams have always been her go-to. We've literally been buying her them for as far back as I can remember — and I've finally figured out why! They are *so* soft and cozy in addition to be affordable. What more could you (and your toes) wish for?
Promising review: "I wanted to replace old slippers since I'm wearing them much more while working from home, and I'm so glad I settled on these! I've hardly taken them off in the several days since they arrived. They're perfectly cozy and keep my feet warm without being too hot on more mild-temperature days. They look great too, I love the tan suede look. The soles are solid enough there's some support, and I can run outside to the mailbox or trash can in them. But they're not super bulky, so they're still comfy to wear around inside all day." —Tigs1781

BuzzFeed editor Bek O'Connell also loves this brand. She said:
"I love Doughp! The cookie dough is so amazing raw that's it's pretty rare for me to actually take the time to bake it. I love being able to keep a pint of Doughp in the freezer and always have the ability to bake a cookie or two when the craving hits. It's super buildable and is vegan and cruelty free. BuzzFeed writer Ali Faccenda (shown above) tested this lippie and enjoyed it! She said:
"This is an amazing lip product. It's hydrating and not sticky (which is, in my opinion, the worst thing about glosses). I love applying a light coat and then blending it in with my finger so it isn't too shiny but it looks great without blending, too. Regular lipsticks and liquid lippies can be way too drying so this balm is the perfect hybrid between lipstick and gloss. It has a gorgeous sheen that looks natural and healthy. You can even apply it on the high points of your cheeks for some glow and a pop of color (no need for blush!)."
Get it from Glossier for $18 (available in nine shades).

Promising review: "The design of this is great. I always hated putting plugs behind furniture and either not using the plug, or the furniture being inches away from the wall. This is more expensive than some other flat extension cords but I think the look and quality of these is worth it." —Adam C.

BuzzFeed editor Emma Lord (aka my work bestie) took a gamble on this dress (it doesn't have many on-site reviews to speak for), and it paid off! I nearly d i e d when I saw it on her Instagram story! It's just SO beautiful???? She was surprised at how well it fit and the fact it wasn't see-through — though she did mention she wore a neutral-colored bra with it just in case. I recently bought artist Jen Racine's The Modern Cottage coloring book as well as her Time to Hygge coloring book and it's been a delightful way to spend my time before bed! The images are rather soothing and perfectly on-theme for fall and the upcoming winter. Highly recommend! I've been using a set of classic colored pencils to color in the pages, since it seems markers would bleed through.
Promising review: "Nice and simple designs, exactly what I was looking for. Sometimes, adult coloring books have so many intricate designs that just looking at them stresses me out...which is the opposite of the whole idea there. I love this one though, because the designs are very cute and simple. It’s a joy to color them, as it should be. Even my boyfriend colored a page!" —WallyGal
