Don’t judge a book by its cover. Or in this case, don’t judge a coffee maker by its exterior. In our hunt for the best coffee makers, we found some excellent coffee comes out of not-so-excellent-looking coffee makers. If your at-home coffee setup needs to match your interior design aspirations, there are coffee makers that look good and also make some damn good coffee. From one of the best looking French presses we could find to a whole bunch of drip coffee makers, these are the best looking coffee makers we could find.

Balmuda already makes one of the best toasters around, and its new coffee maker follows the same ethos: excellent design and even better results. It uses a pour-over-dripper-like filter basket, and you can choose between three coffee options: regular, strong and iced. The machine is on the smaller side, so it’s good for small kitchen spaces.

The Moccamaster has been around since 1969, and it’s retained its design for all those years, which explains its retro look. Zojirushi may be known for its high-end rice cookers, but its coffee maker is both affordable, attractive and effective. It has a very compact design, and tiny details — like a removable water tank and charcoal water filter — makes this one of the best, and best-looking, coffee makers we could find.

We’re not sure how much input Drew Barrymore had in making this coffee maker, but it is definitely a stunner. It comes in four trendy matte colors, and its touchscreen display is sleek and, frankly, pretty cool.

This isn’t some contraption for a science experiment (though one could argue brewing coffee is a science). This Japanese cold brew coffee maker is quite the artistic piece, which also happens to make some of the most flavorful and smooth coffees ever.

Fellow coffee products are really easy to identify. If it’s sleek and, usually, matte black, you can guess it’s a Fellow. The brand’s Clara French press looks a lot like Fellow’s extremely popular Stagg EKG kettle, and it’s for all the right reasons — it’s a stunner.

Whoa, whoa, whoa — a nearly $10,000 espresso maker? If you’re an espresso fanatic, then yes, you may want an espresso maker that costs more than a used car. Slayer makes professional-grade espresso makers that can be used at home (if you have the cash).

The Chemex is art. If you don’t believe us, then ask yourself why the Museum of Modern Art would include it in its permanent collection. The Chemex is one of the most popular pour-over devices, producing clean, flavorful cups of coffee.

Leaning more into artsy territory than the Chemex, Yield Design’s Pour Over Carafe is both a statement piece and useful pour-over dripper. It comes in four colors, and it even comes with a glass lid to keep your coffee warmer for longer.
