Like many others, I have spent the last 10-ish months in soft clothes and varying states of horror. My quarantine 'fits have devolved as the pandemic has raged on, and I had stopped differentiating between daytime pajamas and nighttime pajamas. Then the days and nights began to blur together even more than they were, and I decided I needed a change, and the solution was silk pajamas. However, most silk pajamas require hand-washing or dry-cleaning, and I know myself well enough by now to know that I would not do either of those things. Thus, my love affair with washable silk pajamas was born. You get all the benefits of silk pajamas, like thermoregulation and instantly feeling fancier, but without the fussiness because you can just throw them in the washer with your other laundry. *Adds to cart with a flourish.*
