This laid-back modern housewares store is run by an interior designer who loves to cook, and it shows. The carefully selected goods in muted tones and natural materials all have a high-end handcrafted feel, from the petite Japanese brass candlesticks—best topped with curvaceous hand-dipped celadon candles—to the carbon steel French steak pans and kimchi crocks made in Santa Fe. There are cute hand-blocked tea towels, vanilla bean–infused Jacobsen salt, on-trend local ceramics and the like. In short, lots of packable gifts for you and your most tasteful friends.

PRO TIP: For summer, we’re eyeing the roomy-pocketed hemp “forager’s apron” made in San Francisco.

THE DETAILS: Monday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
